    The last 13 years have brought success to both Vanessa and her clients, as her team has negotiated and closed new housing for hundreds and hundreds of families, amounting to over $250,000,000 in sales.     Carrie Schwartz, Director of Listing Sales (Realtor/Sales Associate)

    Carrie Chamberlin Schwartz has lived in South Orange and Maplewood for 10 years. She is originally a Midwest native and has been relocated many times with her husband’s career (therefore, she is familiar with starting from scratch!). Carrie is a Mom of 3 kids, teenage to adult. Before joining the Vanessa Pollock team in 2014, Carrie had a vast professional life highlighted by teaching preschool and practicing midwifery, however, her love of sales has trailed her throughout her life and she was ranked #1 several times in her career for phone sales.     Sheri Greenman, Buyer & Seller Agent (Realtor/Sales Associate)

    Sheri is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) extraordinaire, as well as listing agent. Sheri brought 13 years of local real estate experience to the table, when joining the Vanessa Pollock team in 2010. In addition to her ABR designation, she also holds the National Associate of REALTOR’s GREEN designation, as well as being an e-PRO. Sheri is also a three-time Top Real Estate Professional, as seen in NJ Monthly. Sheri loves her clients–and they love her back! Sheri and her husband have been long-time residents of South Orange, where they raised their three children. All of them went through the S.Orange/Maplewood school system.     Denise Payne, Buyer & Seller Agent (Realtor/Sales Associate)

    Denise first met Vanessa Pollock in 2014, and was immediately inspired by her genuine passion to serve her clients, and her desire to reach out and give back to the community. Denise is thrilled to now be a part of her team! Born and raised in Buffalo, NY (the city of good neighbors), Denise moved to New York City in 1999 to pursue a career in theatre. After more than ten years performing in Broadway tours across the United States, Canada, Korea, and China, Denise switched gears, and allowed her love for real estate and design to take hold. With a keen eye for detail, and a love for unique and beautiful spaces, Denise began working as an interior stylist for real estate and photo shoots throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. She has also owned and renovated numerous homes in New Jersey and Manhattan, so she knows first hand what it feels like to undertake a huge home improvement project, and how truly important it is to have a good real estate agent’s support and expertise when buying and selling.     Kelly Lombardi, Buyer Agent (Realtor/Sales Associate)

    Kelly has always been about the love of the hunt. Whether it’s going to auctions and estate sales for hidden treasures, or seeking out the tastiest bahn mi in driving distance, research in pursuit of the best is just part of her daily life, and especially when it comes to finding a home. When she and her husband set out to buy their first apartment in Brooklyn, she spent a spring wearing out brokers with questions and leading her husband up countless flights of stairs in search of just the right apartment. In short fashion, she found a cozy, charming little place to call home and start her family. As the family grew, time came for her and her husband to leave Brooklyn in search of more space, and this time even more methodical research (punctuated by several tidy spreadsheets) led her family to Maplewood for its good schools, easy commute, strong sense of community, and lively culture.     Kristen Torkelson, Buyer Agent (Realtor/Sales Associate)

    A recent transplant from San Clemente, CA to Chatham, NJ, Kristen brings over 20 years’ experience around the home building industry to her role as Sales Associate/Realtor with the Vanessa Pollock team. Specializing in relocation, Kristen knows what it is like to be new in town and yet she has the knack to help her clients find the best of local everything—from schools and churches to shopping, restaurants, contractors and more!  She has renovated several homes, including her historic Chatham Tudor—and she has personally designed and managed the entire process. She is a Mom of three boys—the oldest one is 17 and the twins are 14—ensuring her ability to juggle multiple duties without dropping a single ball!  Entrepreneurial spirit and love of sales is in her blood too–she founded and sold her own high-tech company before the age of 21!  But the Care, Serve, Give mantra runs deep within her.  She has served in leadership positions, including President, of a nonprofit foundation for over 9 years.  Kristen brings a wealth of expertise in customer service and caring to help her real estate      clients have the best possible experience...     Katherine Anderson, Client Concierge & Showing Agent (Realtor/Sales Associate)

    Katherine “Kaidy” Anderson is a native New Jersey Resident. She was born at Overlook Hospital in Summit, and was raised in Westfield. She absolutely loves her home state and can attest to the strong sense of community in the area. After attending college at Northeastern University in Boston, Kaidy began a career in marketing; developing strategic and innovative plans to drive sales and catch the eye of consumers.

    After relocating from Boston to New York City in 2013, she and her husband decided it was time for a little more space (and yes she couldn’t wait to be back in NJ!). Still wanting an easy commute and a lively neighborhood, they began their search in the SOMA area. Kaidy was immediately attracted to the 30minutestonyc website and the concierge level of service that the Pollock Group offered. With the expertise and guidance of the VP team, she and her husband are now proud homeowners in Summit. The home buying process inspired her to keep an eye on the market and to pursue her own career in Real Estate.     Josh Adler, Showing Agent (Realtor/Sales Associate)

    A recent addition to the Pollock Properties Geam, Josh brings over twenty years’ experience of providing top-of-class service to his clients, building strong relationships that have lasted decades through his previous careers as a talent agent to award-winning performers and as a non-profit fundraiser. When he and his wife moved to Maplewood in 2015 after thirteen years in Hoboken, they worked with the Pollock Group and were so impressed with their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to the community that he knew it was the perfect group to join. Josh has fallen in love with the South Orange and Maplewood community and is committed to helping other families find the right home for their needs, whether it’s their “forever” home or the perfect “passion project”.

    Steve Hogle, Director of Operations & Transaction Services (Realtor/Sales Associate)

    Steve joined our team in early 2014.  As the Director of Operations and Transaction Services, he helps oversee each client’s experience and insures the contract-to-close process is as smooth as possible.  Steve helps the Group to deliver the high-level of service that we demand for each of our clients.  His background in client care and task management, as well as a desire to SERVE people, make him the perfect fit for the Pollock Group.  Steve and his wife, and their 2 children recently purchased a new home in West Orange, so he knows the home buying process intimately!
