The Children’s Regatta Playground is the newest addition to the South Mountain Recreation Complex. Inspired by the nearby reservoir, it features a wave-like rubberized safety surface and a series of play equipment designed to look like boats. A large open area with a synthetic grass surface and stamped concrete pathways link the playground to the nearby Clipper Pavilion picnic area and paddle boat launch. 

The Paddle Boat Launch is located on the shore of the Orange Reservoir. Paddle boating is available seasonally for a fee. Children under 2 years old and pets are not permitted on paddle boats.
