Dear Future Homeowners,

When we were first considering moving out of Brooklyn, we drove around checking out neighborhoods.  We visited a few neighborhoods as well as South Orange and Maplewood.  We stopped at Arturo's for lunch and immediately fell in love with the historic main street.  We loved the quaint downtown full of mom and pop shops with families walking around.  It didn't hurt that Arturo's pizza was amazing pizza! I still to this day love looking at the gorgeous homes that line the streets, especially the little tudor houses with the pointed roofs.  We knew right away that this was the town we wanted to be in.

We came across this house at 85 Midland and had to see it.  We walked in and fell in love with the built in shelves and wood burning fireplace.  We imagined our kids growing up in their own space in the basement.  It needed a bit of work, but we loved the untouched beauty and original details that the house still had to offer. I can say it was all we imagined and more!

We got to creatively improve, while keeping the house's style, to build out a beautiful kitchen that we have loved.  We spent numerous nights with family on the holidays in front of a wonderful fire.  We have watched our kids grow up in a great space that grew with them and enjoy endless hours playing with each other and their friends.  We have enjoyed many beautiful days in our backyard playing or BBQing in our garden with friends and family.  We have enjoyed walking to the parks and talking to the outgoing and friendly neighbors.  Celebrated Halloween and block parties in the street with everyone.  Not to mention all the wonderful expereinces we have had that the area has to offer - sledding down Flood's Hill, visiting the animals at Turtle Back Zoo, hiking in the reservations, eating at all the delicious resturaunts.

We will truly miss this house and this town.  We hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
