We had an amazing time last Sunday at the FRESH FUN FOOD DRIVE for MEND NJ at Weekday School in South Orange! Weekday School, a progressive and community-focused institution, was the perfect partner in our mission to collect food for families in need. MEND, known for its commitment to providing healthy food, inspired us to focus this drive on gathering fresh vegetables and fruits. We filled the Sweet Pea, MEND's vibrant green van, with heaps of potatoes, carrots, bananas, and other essential items. Thank you to everyone who came out and made donations! We had enthusiastic young helpers from the school and even a T-Rex helped fill the van! The day was packed with laughter, creativity through crafts, and the ever-popular produce-themed game, Cornhole, customized by the creative students at Weekday School! It was a heartwarming and fun-filled event that truly brought our communities together!
