THE 2ND ANNUAL arts fair!

30+ schools, 300+ people, and so much free ice cream!

We are thrilled to share that the 2nd Annual Arts Fair, held on Sunday, September 8th at Woodland, was an incredible success! A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the arts with us. Pollock Properties Group and the Maplewood Division of Arts & Culture (@maplewoodartsandculture) was proud to present this vibrant showcase of painting, dance, pottery, acting, music and more!

A special shoutout to our sponsors, Matt Keane of Rate and Peter Uzzolino of Acres Land Title for their unwavering support. Your dedication helps make this event a community tradition we look forward to every year!

We are grateful to everyone who joined in the fun, especially those who participated in the Flash Mob—what an energetic and joyful dance! For those who missed it, rehearsals were lively, and the performance truly brought the community together and put a little love in our hearts! 🕺💖

A huge thank you to the CHS Marching Band and Noteworthy (@chsnoteworthy), the CHS acappella group, for their spectacular performances. Your music added so much to the day! 🥁🎼

The Crafting & Coloring Corner by Funky Fun Art (@funkyfunart) and our mini tattoo parlor were a hit with the little ones. 🎨

It was wonderful to see so many local arts educators sharing their talents and connecting with the community. Thank you for making this event such a memorable experience! 🎨🎭️🎵

We also want to extend our gratitude to Matt Keane of Rate (@matt_keane_gr) for the free ice cream, and Baker St. Market (@bakerstreetmarket) for the delicious snacks. Your contributions made the day even sweeter! 🍦🍪

welcome to the pollock arts fair!

35+ schools, 250+ people, and so much free ice cream! (Thank you Matt Keane!)

This day was nothing short of magical! Over 35 arts schools and teachers came together, creating a unique opportunity for our community to connect and explore the wealth of artistic education in our area. Having a space to browse painting, dance, sculpture, music, film and theater classes all in one space made it easy to see all the creative and diverse programs our town has to offer! We are so grateful for our co-sponsors The Maplewood Township Division of Arts & Culture! If you missed it, don’t worry. This was the first ANNUAL Pollock Arts Fair, so we’ll see you next year! Our PPG kids will be there ready to sign you in!

The reading corner

Harmonica Sunshine entranced us all with her songs and stories! We created a cozy reading corner where kids and grown ups could relax, read, color, and enjoy the fun and artistry of Drag Story Hour. Our Chief of Staff, Elizabeth Welch and dozens of children were a big fan of Harmonica.

CREATIVE play SPACE

The Creative Play Space was bubbling with … creativity! Many artistic masterpieces were born from the craft table and everyone wanted an awe-inspiring balloon sculpture! Our staging assistant, Jeremy Stolle was on the ready with temporary tattoos for those who wanted to wear their art home.

The educators

Those guiding lights in our artistic journey. Where would we be without our favorite teachers? They inspire us, helping us flourish as artists and individuals. Spending an afternoon with so many dedicated and creative teachers warmed our hearts and opened our minds to new and exciting possibilites. They are the stars of the Pollock Arts Fair and we celebrate them every day!
