60 Princeton Street

Dear Future Homeowner,

From the moment we toured this home, lovingly referred to by our kids as “The Red House,” we knew it was the one for us. We lived in my dad’s basement for a year to save a downpayment. We had dreamed of living in Maplewood but as prices went up, we thought it might be unattainable. After all, this was “Brooklyn West,” right?

All the great restaurants are here (they’re even better now—I’m looking at YOU Arties. Particularly at your Cinnamon Morning Buns!). Local favorites you NEED to check out are Corner Slice, Coda, Bill & Harry’s. For Thai, check out Morris Thai in Union.

All the great vents are here: Maplewoodstock (walkable), Porchfest (literally in our neighborhood), Art Walk downtown, Santa Village, and so so so many more.

But most importantly, all the great people are here. We’ll miss our neighbors the most. If you are looking for a sense of community, of belonging, this is it. The kids play together, go sledding in the winter, run around each other’s backyards in the spring and summer, the adults hang out and help one another. We couldn’t be happier with our near-decade’s worth of memories as Maplewoodies.

The home? It’s incredible and you’ll read about it, tour it, fall in love with it like we did. But the thing is, Maplewood is about more than the wood and nails and modern features. Living in Maplewood has been our dream. And now, as we move west to help take care of my wife’s aging dad, our family’s dream home can be your family’s next huge adventure!

Sincerely,

The Current Owners of 60 Princeton St. (The Red House)
