15 NORTH CRESCENT

Dear Future Homeowners of 15 NORTH CRESCENT

To potential buyers of 15 North Crescent, We don't know how to say this without sounding smug, but trust us, you can't go wrong if you buy this house. We've lived in it for eight years and continue to adore it as much as we did when we first saw it at the start of our years-long search for a home in Maplewood. It was love at first sight. Inside, it felt peaceful, quiet, and well cared for—with many original details intact. We loved that it wasn't too big, nor too small thanks to unusually high ceilings. Outside, the curb appeal was undeniable. The neighborhood was lush and beautiful (we later learned that unlike most streets in town, the Crescents have their telephone and electric wires hidden behind the houses as opposed to on the street). The walk from the front door to the train station? Just five minutes (yes, we timed it). We had no doubts that this home would be perfect for us, but unfortunately, we weren't able to afford it then. A few years later, though, when it came back on the market and we were still on the hunt (no house we saw thereafter compared), we knew we had to have it. To us, it was the one that got away. We hope you feel the same deep connection to this house that we do. It's taken such good care of our family of four, adapting to our needs as kids grow and life changes. The basement has been the site of many a play date and sleepover; the guest room has transitioned nicely into a home office; twin-sized beds have been replaced with full-sized ones in our boys' bedrooms; countless outdoor meals were consumed on the deck; the garage, once a place to store our kids' scooters and tricycles, now holds their skateboards and mountain bikes. The only thing that this house can't do is move West, where we have family. So we will have to settle for finding new owners who will care for and appreciate it as much as we have. This special, special home in this special, special town is a keeper. -From the current owners, who will always carry a torch for 15 North Crescent
