Property Overview

Living Room

The built-ins make a statement right when you walk through the door, and add extra it-factor to the room. The bookcase library lights provide such a lovely glow in the early evening. The sunroom nook, which is a bright spot of sunshine in the house. It's the perfect place to work or sit with your morning coffee.

Dining Room

This room gets the best light in the house, and is home to a host of happy plants. Right in the middle of the house, it's the perfect flow between the heartbeat of the kitchen and the gathering in the living room.

Kitchen

Beyond having a ton of storage (which it does!), this room feels moody, modern, and yet storied. The island pendants make it feel like an at-home restaurant and the touches of brass throughout add a bit of vintage shine without being overly formal. It's the perfect family kitchen that's both polished and lived-in.

Office & Powder Room

Primary Bedroom

This room feels like being enveloped in a hug. The uniform color is so calming and crisp, and the additional built-in closet provides a crazy amount of storage (and even houses our TV out of sight!).

Second Floor Bedrooms & Bathroom

The nursery is a whimsical little escape that's been the perfect refuge for our little sleeper, with a ceiling mural we commissioned by an artist to help his imagination bloom.

Third Floor

The third floor bedroom has been amazing, whether you use it as an extra bedroom, guest room, or office space—and the wall-to-wall carpet is cozy and plush for plenty of play.

Basement

The basement space offers additional play or work space right downstairs, and the basement bathroom feels like a spa with a wet room-style shower.

Outdoor Space

The yard is just the right amount of space for kids to play, explore, and get the wiggles out without being too much to manage and maintain. We've planted blackberry and blueberry bushes, watched tulips and daffodils bloom each spring, and created many a chalk masterpiece on the driveway. The fence makes the space feel safe and secure for little kids, who will happily scoot around on their trucks and tricycles for hours.

FAVE FEATURES

The tree in the front yard (pretty red buds in the spring, leafy greenery in the summer, gorgeous foliage in the fall—right outside the window!).

The view from the primary bedroom, which feels like a treehouse thanks to the tree in the front yard.

The light throughout, especially the dining room.

The neighbors in general, especially on the other side of the back fence (there’s always two boys playing sports—it feels like picture perfect childhood).

The primary bedroom—it’s moody and comforting and feels like a hug.

The powder room—it feels like a powder room in a cool Brooklyn restaurant.

The living room built-ins—they make a statement right when you walk through the door.
