Who we are looking for?

Pollock Properties Group is seeking reliable and detail-oriented part-time, seasonal moving helpers and organizers. In this role, you will assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse, ensuring it remains in top condition. You will provide moving and handyman assistance during the staging and de-staging of our listings with the direction of our Director of Home Transformation and warehouse manager.  


Hourly Wage: $TBD based on experience 

January-May Hours: Monday-Friday shifts within 9am-5pm (Varies per job, per day. Flexible, on-call schedule required. No day will be the same.)


Responsibilities: 

  • Provide moving and handyman support during the setup and breakdown of property staging installations.

  • Assist in pulling and packing inventory for stagings using our inventory management software.

  • Load/unload company van and box truck with furniture - i.e. couches, dining room 

tables, chairs, rugs, lamps, artwork, large bins of home décor items etc.

  • Organize and return unused inventory to the warehouse after stagings, including climbing ladders to place things on top shelves. 

  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment by organizing materials, supplies, tools, etc. ensuring everything is stored properly.

  • Ensure items are packed and delivered undamaged and placed in the correct locations once instructed. 

  • Must be able to lift 100+lbs 

  • Must be handy and able to assemble and disassemble furniture when needed. Comfortable using tools, i.e. drill, screwdriver etc. 

  • Take great care of the client's property and pieces. Attention to detail while hanging art and moving furniture in and out of properties. 

  • Run errands as needed, including picking up staging supplies, cleaning products, tools, and other materials from local stores.

  • Display professional conduct when entering and performing work in the client’s home. 

  • Willing to be on call and work a flexible schedule when needed. 


Qualifications:

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work on a seasonal, part-time basis.

  • Physically fit and able to lift 100+lbs.

  • Team player and able to follow directions. 

  • Reliable transportation for running errands (mileage reimbursement applies).

  • Comfortable working on ladders and at heights to store inventory.

  • Familiarity with inventory management software (preferred but not required).

  • Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Excellent attendance.

  • Respectful of client’s property and personal belongings. 

  • Timely and trustworthy. 

  • Positive attitude.  

  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
